- A 230 V socket is enough. No power on site? We bring our generator.
Does the laser damage metal or wood?
No. Power and frequency are tuned to vaporise the unwanted layer and stop at the sound material. On wood we always test a discreet area first.
How long does it take?
A rim: 20 to 40 minutes. One square metre of medium rust: about 25 minutes. The calculator above shows an estimated time.
Does anything need protecting?
Very little: the laser throws no sand or water. We mark off the area and wear safety goggles; nobody should look at the beam without protection.
Will the metal rust again?
Yes, bare steel oxidises. Plan a protection (primer, oil, wax) within a few days; we can advise you or apply a protective oil.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer: each invoice has a QR code you scan with your banking app (Belfius, KBC, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING…). Bancontact at the workshop is also possible.
Do you work for private customers?
Yes, for private customers as well as garages, restorers, municipalities and industry. For a home older than 10 years VAT can be reduced to 6 %.
